How to make friends & influence people
After my lukewarm reaction to the demo of Star Wars The Force Unleashed, coupled with some earlier doubts that I had posted about the game, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Activision reacted the way they did to my request for a copy of the code to review(see above image). The PR at Activision could have at least ready the email I sent them first, ah well looks like I maybe losing my touch!
Nice to know that my worries over this title are being backed up in reviews. The most recent one that I have just read? – See EDGE Magazine issue 194 page 90(5/10).

Can’t believe we haven’t seen a Spore review yet!

Do you have a link to the review?

Sorry robust, if you think I have reviewed the game…I haven’t. EA had promised numerous times I would receive a copy to review which never turned up. I had already set a game buying budget for myself(hence WAR) & so haven’t got the capital to buy Spore this month.
Metacritic have the low down on published Spore reviews.

I was just curious what you thought of it. I picked it up and have been thoroughly underwhelmed. I’d give it 2/10 right now.

2/10 wow! I must admit without playing it, I am getting the feeling that the final release isn’t what was originally planned. Just my thoughts maybe but could it be that Spore be more gimmick than game?

Spore isn’t the best game that will come out this year, but it’s still good. Its basic problem is that it’s too straightforward. Players can design a wide variety of creatures and objects, but there’s not much to do with them once they’re made.
