0711 – reading through the wires

Some good lively coverage on both Fallout 3 & Fable 2 over a number of blogs, here’s the links to the ones I have enjoyed reading:

Pete @ Dragonchasers has been posting his bigamist adventures in Fable 2, Bigamy+Veggies = Purity which really hits home the depth of thought that has gone to making Fable 2, a videogame that players want to talk about. A comment left by stirred Pete into answering it in a post of its own – What can MMO devs learn from Fable 2?

Melmoth also put a question, very similar to this one, after his play through of Fable 2 in his recent post – A tale of swords and souls, eternally retold.

Michael Abbott, The Brainy Gamer that he is, has been talking about both Fable 2 & Fallout 3 with The World according to Molyneux post which highlights the features of Fable 2 rather nicely plus People drive me crazy that looks at both titles & the areas where each title has had its problems – yup you heard right, these are not perfect games!

Moving away from Fable 2 & Fallout 3 then – Tobold has begun to discuss console MMOs with his My take on console MMORPGs, he even suggests he may get himself one of the new generation of consoles to cover the spate of MMOs due to be released on the PS3 & 360.

While Joe Ludwig tries to answer the question of why aren’t there more console MMOs? which was posted way back in May this year but I have only just found – still worth a read.
